Architecture HQ

Woolworths Tarneit Gardens opened in December 2013 to much acclaim, with terrific support from local Government, residents and the Centre Owner Fabcot Pty Ltd and Tenanct Woolworths Ltd.

The Woolworths Tarneit Gardens project saw AHQ deliver another successful Main Street retail centre, dynamic and engaging form to both the interior and exterior of the centre. This fully leased and tenanted centre was a huge hit for the locals on opening day, and early trends are indicating a very successful ytrading future for this centre.

Here is what our client had to say:

Good Morning All,

I write on behalf of the Victorian Construction team to welcome a new store which opened on December 4th 2013, we have added to the Woolworths Supermarket family in Victoria, and have delivered the 500th BWS attached to a Supermarket nationally at Tarneit Gardens in Melbourne.

This is a great addition to one of Melbourne's major growth corridors, and the creation of jobs in the area has been well received by all. The community response to the store has been great and Tarneit was welcomed by a large opening day crowd.  This is the first stage of a major retail expansion in this new suburb.

Sales reached targets for the opening with Fresh and Deli being the stand outs, 300 pizzas were sold on opening day.

I would like to acknowledge some people for their efforts and these are noted below;

First to the Property team, for their efforts in bringing this Centre to the area and their ongoing assistance throughout the construction period.

Secondly to the Development and Construction Teams - Fabcot, Steven Mitchell and Terry McCoy, their Architect Architecture HQ, and Hacer for building the WW, BWS and the Centre to such high standards.

We wish the Store well and good trading in the years in the future.

Joanne Hasenrader Construction Project Manager National Store Construction Woolworths Limited.
